As soon as we read this headline,a gut feeling runs down our heart..and we start feeling prouder for our country.We feel each of our contribution to the homeland is definitely helping her to head towards her goal of becoming the world leader and that as we approach 2050,we could clearly outline India as the superpower of the emerging world.But is this just an icing on the cake or is India really on her mark for the "World's Superpower Race"?
Well,"replacing" USA's current position is what we see as our goal.But do you think we really analysed its meaning?
UNITED States of America...the name itself shows their unity and each individual in the country proves it.They recognize themselves as one country..and not as part of a state or city.Ever heard of communal riots among people of different states in USA? Atleast I havent.Blame me to be ignorant if you have ever heard of it.And how about India?....guys...people have written a whole book on it...Maharashta calls himself "Jai Maharashtra"....Tamil Nadu hates to see Hindi speaking people...people in Punjab are all set for Khalistaan..Eastern states have their own story to say..hey!!! did I forget the legendary Jammu and Kashmir?...where even the people dont want to be known as Indians..
Leave that..come to individual level..how many of us have refrained from making fun of people from Bihar,whom we 'fondly' call as "Bihar ke Bhaiye".How many of us have never commented on our South Indian buddy for his "weired language" and his Mom's "gajra" and "sarees"?Seeing a sardar or a sikh,who has not made fun of his "gutti" or the most famous "baarah baj gaye" stuff.....
We intially start it with a mere prank or joke on another community and gradually it is streotyped to a particular community..Though communal riots are provoked by the politicans and religious "mahatma"..but the root lies here....deep within US.Come on guys,we need to grow up,we need to rise above the boundaries of states and cities
We must identify ourselves as one nation...as united states...as United States of India... The problem of poverty,corruption,economic crisis,population explosion,etc are all secondary...
.the need of the hour lies in realizing the dream of our freedom fighters i.e. to see India as a united nation
And United States of India is definitely the world's superpower...beyond doubt!!!

ReplyDeleteWe merely think to become a superpower, without actual working for it. Even if we work for making our country as a superpower at an individual level, then also it would not be sufficient, unless we are allied. it's surely need a collective effort to make india rise and to make our dream come true.
It's also true we pooled overselves in the name of indians, only on some specific days like Republic Day or Independence day and normally we live for our state, our community. we judt leave no chance to make a comment on other community, but I also think taht will not take us to the height of SUPERPOWER, instead it will drown us in the ocean of combat and sorrow. These feeling of communism not only make scrs in heart of people, but also on the progress chart of our nation, our India.
We should have a feeling of being an INDIAN before, rather than a part of community. I also think seprate rise in community make a little effect on progress of whole country itself as compared to effort made by every single as a part of India.
